Founded in 1901 in the town of Haro’s legendary Station Quarter, Bodegas Bilbaínas is the longest-standing bottling winery in Rioja. It also has the most extensive underground cellars in the region and a greater area of vineyards than any other winery in the town: 250 hectares of high quality vines, which supply the winery with its own grapes, ensuring that they can be processed quickly without losing their qualities. Viña Pomal is its flagship brand, which embodies the Rioja Altas best winemaking tradition. These are exceptional wines that have remained faithful to the classic style of authentic Rioja from the outset.
The grapes for Pomal Organic come from 17 hectares of vineyards situated in Harowith organic
viticulture certification. They are grown using environmentally friendly practices applying only natural products authorised for organicviticulture. Responsible and sustainable management of each of our vine plots constitutes a sign of identity which characterises Bodegas Bilbaínas’
vineyards. Viña Pomal Organic is the maximum exponent of work caring for the environment.
