Moillard Grivot Bourgone Chardonnay White, 12,5%, 75 cl

Grape varieties : Chardonnay Origin : The grapes come mainly from parcels located in the Mâconnais. The south of Burgundy enjoys a sunnier climate, providing very rich and ripe grapes from vines aged 15 to 40 years. Vinification : Traditional vinification: Pressing and settling is done directly by vine growers who have been our partners for many years. The best musts are then blended to craft a Bourgogne Chardonnay that is powerful, elegant and fresh. For 50% of the cuvée, Alcoholic fermentation takes place in barrel and the wine is aged in barrels for 10 months. 25% new; 25% barrels used once ; 25% used 2 times ; 25% used 3 times. For the other 50% of the Cuvée the alcoholic fermentation and ageinf takes place in stainless steel vats. Regular stirring and ullage to gain in richness and roundness. Natural malolactic fermentation which brings complexity to the wine. The 2 cuvées are then assembled. Soil : Limestone rich in calcium Country origin : FRANCE Sensory characteristic : Colour : Brilliant pale yellow robe with golden highlights. Nose : A floral and fruity nose of white flowers, peach and almond enhanced by a delicate vanilla and toasted notes. Palate : Powerful and tense attack, the middle of mouth is all in roundness and length. Recommendations : To be enjoyed with a fish in cream sauce or poultry with Epoisses. Serving condition in C° : 10-12°
