Special Cuvée is composed of over 85% Grand and Premier crus of the three main Champagne varietals: 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier. The wine is aged in Bollinger’s cellars for more than twice the time required by the Champagne appellation rules, contributing to its complexity. A unique feature is that some of the reserve wines are aged in magnum bottles for 5 to 15 years, which adds exceptional depth and the signature Bollinger character. Bollinger Special Cuvée is a versatile champagne that pairs wonderfully with everything from fish and seafood like sushi and lobster, to poultry, white meats, Parmesan cheese and good cured ham. To enhance its unique style, bouquet, and aromas, Special Cuvée is best served chilled between 8 and 10°C. It is perfect for sharing with friends and can be enjoyed right away, or you can choose to age it further in your cellar. Moderate dosage between 7 and 8 grams per liter.
