Intense forest fruit (blackberry) fragrance with toasty oak hints and a sweet aftertaste of spicy black fruit. Serving suggestions: Wonderful with meat and game stews, as well as dishes with spices or tomato sauce. Pairs very well with medium-aged cheeses and charcuterie. Serve at 15–17ºC. Weather conditions: Climate conditions brought the harvest forward for all varieties in 2023. In general, the year was very dry with very high temperatures. A rather dry and temperate winter gave way to a very mild spring with less precipitation than usual, followed by a summer that saw temperatures rise significantly in August. The grapes ripened quickly, bringing the harvest forward and decreasing yields significantly, especially in the Penedès and Garraf areas. At harvest, the grapes were in exceptional condition, making it possible to produce complex and aromatic reds with a well-structured palate.
